Swayangsiddha: The Voice of Hope is a non-governmental organization (NGO), deeply committed to empowering women through providing access to education and employment opportunities. We are a passionate and dedicated organization committed to empowering women and creating positive change in society. Our main objective is to provide educational opportunities and support to the women, enabling them to realize their full potential and become confident, self-reliant individuals.
One of our key focuses is on ensuring the security, self-sufficiency, and well-being of women. We actively work towards creating a safe environment by raising awareness about women’s rights and providing resources for reporting and combating gender-based violence.
Recognizing the pivotal role of women in society, we strive to enhance their skills and capabilities through various training programs. We offer comprehensive training opportunities in stitching, paramedical training, nursing, yoga and meditation, physiotherapy, and beautician courses. These programs equip women with valuable skills, opening doors to employment and entrepreneurship.
With unwavering dedication and a vision of a gender-equal society, Swayangsiddha: The Voice of Hope continues to make a significant impact in the lives of women, empowering them to thrive, overcome challenges, and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities
Foundation of SVH
Swayangsiddha: The Voice of Hope (SVH) is only a year old charity organization, run by the help of our family members and friends but the concept was deep-rooted. We are extremely excited to narrate a nonfiction story about our philanthropist family- the four human pillars of the team, their huge contributions, and the impact towards our lives! The strengths behind the simple faces are enormous!
Meet Mrs. Kalyani Mukhopadhyay: She is the PRESIDENT of our team! She is a teacher, a social activist and a proud mother of three extremely talented women. She faced tremendous social & financial challenges and struggled against every possible odds throughout her young life but she came out with flying colors. She single handedly prepared herself and at the same time prepared her children to become academically high achievers, self-supporters and contributors to the society. Her journey of life is not only inspiring but also empowering to each and every girl and woman of our time!
Mrs. Sadhana Chakraborty is the VICE PRESIDENT of SVH, a social worker and a mother of a warmhearted daughter! She was given a comfortable life by her family. Yet she was happy to take on challenges when she got married to a struggling scholar who was trying hard to meet both ends. She opened her arms to embrace her new family and extended her hands to hold who needed it. She remains an unwavering support to her husband and all his activities. Over time a soft minded girl became a strong woman. With her husband she has been supporting infinite individuals, always with humility and a benevolent smile, for nearly fifty years. She is indeed an influencer!
Our JOINT VICE PRESIDENT is Mrs. Priti Sadhu. She is the most proud mother of a gem man and an extremely caring woman. She is a true believer! Despite her childhood struggles as a part of an immigrant family she dared to believe in herself and she has been passing on her belief to her next generations so that they can achieve their dreams on their own terms. Her continuous dedication influenced her son’s vision and helped him become one of the prime founder members of this organization. Her hospitality, empathy, sacrifice, and affection towards her family and beyond made her very special!
Last but not the least, Prof. Sripati Bhushan Chakraborty is the PRINCIPAL ADVISOR of SVH. He is an 83 years old young man, who is the connector of all three women introduced above. He is a loving elder brother of Mrs. Priti Sadhu, caring brother-in-law of Mrs. Kalyani Mukhopadhyay and a proud husband of Mrs. Sadhana Chakraborty! It is extremely difficult to explain his remarkable achievements, enlightening students through his extensive knowledge and his expansive life in a few words. He excelled himself in each and every area of his life and has been living a humble, healthy & joyful life with his wife. SVH is immensely fortunate to get the opportunity to utilize his visionary, social and family values, and his thoughtful mentorship! He is the ultimate authority of SVH.
